Engine: 1981 CHEVY 350 C.I. V8 with 1969 camel back heads and Hedman block hugger headers hooked to 2 1/2 " exhaust and glass pack mufflers. The "350" is topped with a 650cfm Edlebrock Performer carb, manifold and Cal Custom valve covers equipped with Moon Eye breathers.
Trans: 700 R4 with B&M 2500 rpm stall torque converter.
Chassis: 32 Ford boxed chassis is equipped with Ford 9 inch rear end and 4" dropped front axle supported by tranverse leaf springs. Stopping power is provided by 4-wheel disc brakes. All this is riding on 15 " X 5 " and 15" X 10 " Halibrand Wheels with BF Goodrich tires.
Body & Interior: Porsche red paint is meticulously laid over the "32" Gibbons body. The interior is equipped with an original steering column, a Lobeck steering wheel, Ron Francis wiring and VDO gauges. Interior comfort is provided by a Glide seat with Collins Auto Trim custom upholstery and carpet.
Looking for a new hot rod, Frank and Luisa purchased the "Deuce" in 2010 and continue to tour and show the car whenver they can. The "32" roadster was built in 1996 by it's original Baltimore owner who drove the car to many events including 1999 Topless Tour, 2001 Bonneville Speedweek and Good Guys West Coast Nationls where it was awarded "One Fine Deuce Pick " by Gary Meadors and was also featured in Rodder's Journal.
