Engine: 1965/66 vintage "327" bored .30 over with TRW flat top pistons, ISKY cam, 194cc camel hump heads, stock curved & rebalanced distributor w/electronic points and Crane electronic ignition, MSD coli & wires, Hedman headers hooked to a 2 1/2" exhaust tubes connected to Spin Tech Sportsman mufflers. Carburation comes from a 600cfm Edlebrock Performer. An aluminum Fluidyne radiator along with tranny and oil coolers keep the Camaro running cool.
Trans: Turbo 350 with a Transadapt shift kit, Converter Shop 1500 stall converter, using a B&M Mega Shifter.
Chassis: "Stock Camaro frame with no mods. Front suspension is using the stock "A" arms with Coil Springs Specialties 2" drop coils. Spindles and front vented disc brakes, master cylinder and power booster with proportioning valve are from Stainless Steel Brake Corp. Front & rear sway bars are from Hotchkis Suspension. The 2" dropped rear leaf springs are the product of Deaver Springs. Bilstein supplied the shocks front & rear. All this is riding on Wheel Vintiques SS style rally wheels with top hats & trim rings.
Body & Interior: The stock '67 body has been fitted with a steel '69 cowl hood and "69 Z-28 trunk tail. Most of the body work was done by Neil and a friend down in Lake Elsinore. The rally stripes are DuPont burgandy laid over DuPont #50 white. Pinstriping is also in burgandy. Front and rear windows have been replaced with new tinted glass. Inside the stock bench seat (w/armrest) and stock rear seat have been covered in black w/burgandy inserts. A Secret Audio stereo system w/remote and speakers in the rear deck and front kick panels kickout the music while cruisin down the highways. The gauges are from Auto Meter.
Neil bought the car from a body shop/junk yard in '93 after it had sat for 20 years after being totaled in the 70's. It is truly Neil's "Junk Yard Dog"
